I’m trying to understand how something can pass dkim, and the domain from dkim matches the From header, but dmarc still considers it to be unaligned. Every source I can find for an answer just keeps pointing to the domain from dkim not matching the From, but in my case it DOES match. So what am I missing?

You are indeed in alignment. What you are reading is misreported data on the part of Microsoft 365. I noticed that this result only occurred for the DMARC reporting period of April 12th. I would recommend reporting this strange behaviour to Microsoft directly by emailing them at dmarcreport@microsoft.com.
